This new build has a very unexpected layout being a reverse floor plan but was achieved so successfully! Architect, Alex Voth, decided to take this approach for the main living areas to be located on the top level to benefit the breathtaking view, overlooking the ocean and mountainside of North Vancouver. Entering the home, we decided to have the exterior stone lace the interior entry for a classic textured feature wall, which is brightly lit with a large opening to the top floor. Anyone entering the home is instantly pulled upstairs through the gorgeous entry chandelier and back lit ceiling detail which naturally allows anyone entering the home to be invited up to the top floor. We designed this home to be quite masculine with dark and rich finishes and lots of custom sleek details throughout. This home is made for entertaining from the statement wine cellar off the dining room, to the massive sliding doors opening up the front and back patios, making the overall space feel so much larger than it already is. With our lighting design, this helps customize any atmosphere desired through a custom dimming system which includes an assortment of various light fixtures and back-lit ceiling details. It’s easy to say the entire living area & kitchen are easily our favorite spaces, but we still get just as excited for each and every other room throughout this stunning custom home.
